so my question is this fishman...
if i come with a gas mask/bio hazzard mask can i be immune to the airborne strain or virus?
should we look at adding that into the game   
at hour 3 all  spec ops within 100-150 feet of lab get infected with airborne strain...?

I'd never use a PS3 controller to write anything more then one line.
Also I can tell this is quite the game, we needed a good storyline and game. The only question I have is, do you plan for a winter game or a summer game?

i plan on doing this without snow on the ground.  people have to be able to move fast and they can do that so well trudging trough mid thigh snow.  As for Ghost's questions i want this to be objective game and dont expect it to last for more than 2 hours (very few games may last longer).  As for the gas mask thing that was a very big hole in the story that almost killed me to leave open.  if you can think of something to incorporate it let me know.  btw 5 min count on objectives would work but if anybody would like to make a "C4" charge and add a dedicated engineer to add realism that could be done

well id make the c4 but im dead broke on my ass right now and the bio hazard mask does it have to have like a eye protector or something?

As for gas masks, $20 at Lows, it'll get you a real one and a good one. Painters use them. Get the coolist looking one obviously.

i more trying to think of a way to exclude the masks from the story.  the virus spreads by blood and the open wounds (getting hit) would provide the airborn strain contact with ur blood.  the hole i left open was the inhalation.  the airborn strain would eventually make it to your blood stream via ur lungs.  im trying to think of a way to prevent inhalation as a way of spreading the virus as this would lead to a timed game.  I would like to keep this an objective game if at all possible.

how about the spec ops team was deployed they were givin an antibiotic to stop the airborne straine from entering there blood stream via their lungs?

If anyone is actually going to get a gas mask just find a real cheap one, I mean were not actually using them so just pick up something you can afford. As for the game I think we should make this into a spring event, maybe an opener. Anyone agree?

there should be more zombies then people just to make it more stressful like 15 zombies to 7 people?

im thinks in the odds of a 15 to 5 ratio 15 living dead to 5 about to become living dead

the point is for the zombies to slowly become the bigger force due to viral infection.  so they start off a very small team and become a very large team towards the end.
