Here's an update on what happened at last nights meeting. We began discussions on Grenades, Launchers and the such but were derailed when Duck began questioning how MAG was organized, once again. He was upset that his orginal hierarchy where there were a select few "Board Members" had gone by the wayside in exchange for our current situation where anyone can attend and speak their minds. As in the past this frustrated not only myself, but everyone attending the meeting and in the end we were not able to accomplish much.
Duck has publicly posted that he is done with MAG, I am not sure if this is him or his entire team. I responded to him on his forums, but he deleted my post today. Appearently he does not want to hear the truth, and I am sick of avoiding it simply to try and keep things peaceful. Despite what Jim "Duck" thinks, MAG does work well when we don't have to deal with whiny, alpha male bullshit.
At this point we all agreed that homemade weaponry is ok, as long as it is brought out at the start of the game to be inspected by the other attending teams. This could include demonstrating the weapon to insure it is safe for field use. Also we agreed that no flammable substance should be used to propel any item and no flame should be used. All pressures used should be within manufacturers specifications, i.e. PVC is rated for a certain PSI and we should not exceed it.
