November 30th MAG Meeting

The next M.A.G. Meeting will be held on November 30th at 7:00PM. The meeting will be held online as usual and the direct link will be posted in the coming week.

This is the preliminary agenda, so far there is not much to be discussed so if you have any topics to add please let me know so I can put them in.

It's up to you, the meeting will be online but the man cave will be open to those unable to attend online.

one thing that needs addressing is definitely multiple safety kills, and safe your opinions for then, just wanna make sure it gets talked about in case i miss it.

We don't really need to save our opinions for a meeting. A lot of things are discussed prior to meetings and then finalized at a meeting.

For everyone's information, the original wording of the Safety Kill rule (Sept 5th, 2007) states that "Safety kills can only be called on one individual at a time, not on entire groups". This doesn't mean the rule cannot be changed if needed and agreed by the majority, its just how the rule currently stands.

We can also discuss the commonly accepted ranges, the most recent posting states 20ft, the original posting states 30ft. Neither address the range for Sniper/Marksmen weapons.

Once we have an agreed set of rules established I am going to begin creation of an official rule book so that there is 1 source for finding rules.

i just feel that if someone with a gun like mine, which is ~425 fps, i don't wanna light up a group of people, that's why i feel you should be able to safety kill as fast as you can say safety kill.

At this time your option would not be to shoot them, it would be to wait until you are at a safe range. There is no situation that would allow you to fire within the safety kill range, you are just out of luck.

To me it does not seem fair that anyone, no matter what kind of gun they are carrying should be able to take out an entire group. That combined with the fact that with a safety kill you are not allowed to move, it kinda prohibits you from being able to shoot multiple people.

But I am open minded if people feel otherwise.
