The next M.A.G. Meeting will be held on October 26th at 7:00PM. The meeting will be held online as usual and the direct link will be posted in the coming weeks.

what about marks russian invasion senario.  i personaly would like to see the senario set up as a large scale spring/early summer game (such as d-day).  try to get the senario ironed out and such.

the only problem with a winter game is getting enough people interested to come out and play.  im all for a winter game if enough people show up.

Battle of the Bulge Ardennes Forest perhaps? or maybe Stalingrad or Kursk?

Doing a Stalingrad scenario would be absolutely nasty. One of my favorite battles of WW2.

Let's look at doing something hosted by our team for a winter/late fall game. Open a discussing in the general section or in the the Bunker.

so i just thought id say i see a lot of improvment with using the KJW MKII with proper minumum engagement rules.  as for ghuilli suits nobody has used them for a while so really cant say much on that subject.

Great, glad to hear the improvements have been made. Lets still keep an eye on all the topics so we are all ready to discuss them during the next meeting.

I will not be able to make it to the meeting, but I can try to do the online conference thing.

This months meeting went well and was attended by members of Snafu, Firestorm, Spartan Assault, Spartan North and Battleragers. There were no formal notes taken, but here are a few highlites of the evening from my recollection:

-We reviewed the use of Ghuille Suits and KJW MKII and it was decided that the issues have become few and far between. At this point it was recommended and accepted to table these issues indefinetly as no action is needed at this time. The are both open to review in the future if the need arises.

-POW rules were reviewed and at this time there has not been sufficent use of the rules to warrant any action. We will continue to use and fine tune the rules and discuss again at a future meeting.

-The MAG Organization Structure was reviewed and accepted unanimously as proposed. This created the positions of Chairperson, Team representatives and a clerk. The Team representatives are to be chosen by each team (1-2 per team). The Chairperson was nominated and elected unanimously, Jason Mills (Smoke - SA). The clerk position was opened but there was little interest in filling it, so Corbin (Fishman -SA) will be filling the role voluntarily.

-Battleragers are planning an event for 2009, more details to follow.

-Spartan Assault is in the very early stages of planning an early winter event, more details to follow.

-There is a team in Boothbay, "The Saints" that have been attending weekly games in Monmouth and are proving to be a valuable asset to the sport.

-We discussed MAG having a seperate forum and decided there are too many forums now as it is, but everyone is encouraged to check out the other forums and to check out MaineAirsoft.com as a central meeting place.

-We discussed MAG having dues, game fees, etc but decided to not deal with money on any purpose larger then a single event fee at this time.

-We discussed planning games in 2009, while it is still early we all agreed to start thinking about it and be ready to start some planning for the D-Day series along with additional events.

The next meeting is scheduled for November 23rd at 7PM. The link for the last meeting is still active if anyone wants to go in and look at the presentation.
