Next MAG Meeting

Figured I would open up discussion on the next MAG meeting now that D-Day has come and gone and I hope we have all had a relaxing week.

As always, my "Man Cave" is open and has a greater seating capacity then before since we have added some couches/chairs etc.

The only big times I am not available is 23rd-29th, as I will be out of state.

Depending on the location I want to attempt to setup a "PodCast" type recording so everyone can see what happens at the meetings and maybe it will boost involvment.

im set for whenever and as far as topics...  how about more mag games, better advertisment of the games and such?  we should also cover POW rules and regs so that aspect can come into play.

I'll state it again, that I am against POW rules at this time. People are still struggling with Medic rules and what else is in place at this time. I think we should introduce this stuff slowly, not make a change after every big event. But thats just my opinion.

things need some more work
might be way too early to be adding more rules.
we should hone more skills, then once that is done look at adding more.

lets nail down the rules and then add more. I thin k the pow rules need some more work to get rid of some bugs. Lets focus on the basics as training and team work.  I will not be available from 25th-29th of june and then again on the 12th - 18th of july. anything besides those date and i should be able to attend.

As far as i knew there are no POW rules... are there?

Correct, as of right now there are no POW rules.

Last i knew Mag had not set any rules.  we (SNAFU)  have had some we go by for awhile but they are not "MAG" rules

Medic rules were established by MAG, weren't they? Or am I missing something?

Medic rules were, but not POW rules unless im mistaken.  When is the next M.A.G. meeting anyways?

Ah now I see what he meant, I read it as "Last i knew Mag had not set any rules".

I would suggest Sunday the 24th at 7PM if we want to schedule a meeting. We should have a posted agenda as to what we need to talk about prior to the meeting.

I am not sure myself that we need a meeting at this time, but maybe we need to start discussing some stuff online and figure out what we have now and what we want to do to move forward.

I for one would like to start having meetings again.  I felt they were going fine and it generally just made me feel like we were accomplishing things.  and i think there was also talk of doing some kind of iwo jima game(before TA went down) and would like to discuss either doing that scenario or some other game.

The 24th unfortunatly does not work for me, but that means only i will not make that one. I wdid post on snafu that we should have a meeting at stetson field with in the next few weeks and i would say around 6pm so that a lot of players would be able to attend after work or school.

See this is where things fall apart. We were discussing a date, there was little discussion about it and rather then work together your team has started another plan.

If there is already a discussion about a date/place, starting another one on another site is counter-productive at best. The concept of MAG since it started with Spartan Assault and Tactical Airsoft was to work together and communicate.

I also don't understand why we would want to meet outside on a field where everyone would have to stand and there isn't much options to take notes, etc, etc. As we have found the best place to meet is a quiet location where everyone can sit and be away from distraction.
