As another French ship is attacked by a group of Somali Pirates, the French have decided enough is enough. The French Foreign Legion have reached out to the US in attempt to join forces to make a strike at these terrorists. The Marine Corps. have answered the call, they have deployed the 24th MEU to help in this conflict. Command has decided to help train a militia out of a group of villagers in the pirate stronghold of Marka to help with the first offensive. The villagers have had enough of the pirates pushing them around, the time for action is here. Both the Somali Marines and the Marka Groups need to be shown that their reign of terror is over.
Somali Marines-Most organized and powerful group of Somali Pirates.
Marka Group- A well known group of pirates from the village of Marka.
24th MEU-The Marine Expeditionary Unit is a Marine Air Ground Task Force. It consists of a command element, a reinforced infantry battalion, a composite helicopter squadron and a service support group.
French Foreign Legion- An elite French military unit comprised of foreign entities.
Crucible
The French Foreign Legion and the United States Marine Corps have joined forces to train a local militia out of the citizens of Marka to combat the Marka Group. The Marka Group has taken notice of this and will be training its newest group of recruits with the aid of the Somali Marines to let the villagers know they aren’t going anywhere. (Time: 2 Hours)
The Blitzkrieg
Both sides have finished their training. The newly trained pirates from the Marka Group have been ordered to stay in the village and keep it safe while the Somali Marines pick up a shipment from a weapons supplier in the Somali capital of Mogadishu. They have seen no sign of the Marka villagers or the foreign troops, so they must be ready for anything. (Time: 1 ½ Hours)
A Steel Curtain
The tables have finally turned in the favor of the villagers. They have overcome impossible odds to take their home back. But they know the pirates will retaliate and come back for their stolen items, the question is when? The Marines will be unable to help watch the village as they have been contacted by an unknown person from inside the Somali Marine leadership and have orders to meet with him. What will happen is unknown. (Time: 1 ½ Hours)
World Painted Blood
U.S. and French command have decided enough is enough. Today is the day to finish this battle. They have received intel that the pirates will attempt to take out the village for good, so the time to attack is now. The Marka villagers have found the location of the pirate stronghold. All forces will attempt to defend their respective strongholds while taking out the opposing forces. There is no sanctuary, the land will be painted crimson.(Time: Until Completed)
