just plowed through the forest with no problem.

well that sounds great the land owners would love that  ::)  We would not have a real apc somthing smaller that would not go through things quite as easy.  I think this is dangours and not worth the trouble.

I didn't mean plow, we were on a trail and it drove fine the entire way.

Also people, I don't have a half-track, this is completely hypothetical!!!

I think if this was ever to be made into reality, get a go-cart. You already have the frame to put stuff on and they are lightweight and not too fast, but powerful enough to climb any hill at MSAF. I own two go-karts personally and they sure are fun to drive, I have trails on my land and they really are quite easy to build. If cleared by the field owner then I could try to bring one over at the next build day and people could get an idea of what it could be used for.

Stryker's right. Go Karts are the way to go. Light, small, and strong enough to haul up hills. If the kart has some sort of bed on the back I would build up some walls and make it a machine gun turret.
As for who drives, it should be the owner. Otherwise I wouldnt let anyone touch it.

simply put, a go cart, even a 2 seater, is just not suitable as a APC.

True, Armored PERSONAL Carrier. Needs to be able to deliver troops.

I chatted with bish about this. I think that I could convert a go-cart into one. Just give me some time, I don't want to unless there is a chance it would be allowed onto a field but I could for sure do it so that it has armor to withstand a BB, possibly a gunners position, and enough seating to carry say...3 extra troops? And if it gets bogged down on a hill (which it probably wouldn't then the troops can move off for a bit lol. But the cart I have now is big enough to convert, yet small enough to fit almost anywhere.

Go-Karts would completely defeat the purpose of an APC.  Armored Personnel Carrier.
They would make great quick transportation though.

True, that van in your backyard would be awesome though, hahaha. Not that I'm saying you're using that.

Well guys, the point I am trying to make here is that a go-kart would be the best for the SA field. There is absolutely no way that trails will be built for a truck or a van...A 4 wheeler is much less an APC than a go-cart could be. Thats my $0.02.

I'm not saying that a go cart isn't practical. It's just not an APC, well then again I guess it could be considered a small APC if you build it the way you say.

APC is armored personnel carrier. If it can carry more than the driver it is already a personnel carrier, and if it has armoring against the environments weapons, which is the case of airsoft can be as simple as some ply wood, then it's armored :D

But if we were to have an APC, then there has to be a mounted SAW M249 on the back or front. ;D
