M14 Mag Catch Trouble
« on: August 11, 2010, 12:08:22 PM »
My m14 won't hold a mag in anymore, and it is the front latch in the mag catch that won't hold. It will only hold for a short time and then the mag falls out. Anybody know what this is all about?

Alright, I'm looking at my CYMA M14 right now. Its possible the little front latch thingy either needs a new spring, or needs to be lubed. let me take a look?

After selling pics of Joker on his boat in his driveway on EbaY, the vehicle is fixed for now, so I will be out to play

I'll let you help with my bolt problems while you're at it, but I won't be there this weekend and possibly the next weekend

It's deffinately looking like a spring problem, I must've lost mine while I was taking it apart last time.

Do you have an extra spring by any chance?

I do not...but I can take a look anyway. Go to your local hardware store and look for one. Preferably before sunday...

Okay so the spring goes directly under the hopup wheel where the latch is connected, right? On the end that points to the barrel's tip?
