handgun clip

My cousin has a CO2 handgun and it would work really nicely if the clip worked better, I've taken the whole gun apart and the interior seems to be in working order, so i checked the clip, its hard to explain but it looks like the bbs get stuck right before they get into the firing chamber, I tried to change the spring to see if it needed something stronger, but that didn't help at all, next time I come out to the field I should have it with me if someone would like to help me out, I'd really like to get it working.
