"sniper" is not just a gun and a ghillie, it is a playing style. Until you realize that, you are not one.

I prefer m16's for the longer barrel, and using a large type battery.

If I may intrude here. Go for something like a KWA SR-10, 425mm stock inner barrel and it looks nice with a suppressor if you wanted to get a longer barrel. SR-12 has a full stock and is slightly longer than the SR-10 but the SR-10 has a crane stock which you can put a lipo into. I <3 my KWA.

As Destrudo found out yesterday :P That it can be a bit difficult to manuever with a longer weapon. I myself prefer an M4 over an M16, if you truly want more barrel length, put an extension on..

Just get yourself a tightbore and a good hopup and the M4 should be fine.

My opinion. (= (and yes I know tightbore only helps accuracy)

This is true, but one thing I like about the KWA SR-10 is it has a good 10 inch free float rail already, most M16s have handguards. And the barrel is only slightly longer than a normal m4 length, but the gun is only slightly longer as well. I think that the SR-10 is like the middleground between m4 and m16. Just my opinion.

But if you put a silencer on, then why not just buy a m16 in the first place so you have a solid build.  And as for the length, it is not hard to get used to.  I use a one point sling on mine and I make it all over the field, no problem. It's not a issue.

Ya, doesn't matter much. Just user preference I guess.
