AAR: Op. Cashflow
« on: August 08, 2010, 07:16:23 PM »
Really fun today, although my team (village two) got completely wiped. Our biggest issue was keeping control of Alpha, and we remained to consentrated on it, atleast we captured one resource  ::) Highlights for me included a knife fight to gain our resource, a rescue mission for Firecracker and others behind enemy lines, being left behind in the marshy area in front of Alpha and not even realizing that it was captured with all of village 1 behind me, and helping Charlie Company Alpha Squad start off in Spartan Assault.

I also had a lot of fun.   Village three was hit very hard a LOT's of times, I think it was mostly because it was sort of between the other two villages.
The high lights of my day were finding a pile of jewels that we sold for over 900k, escorting 4 "injured" role playing people to the cantina from LZ with the help of some merc I hired who actually carried one of the guys the whole way, I don't know who he was so thank you for helping me make another 400k.   Also I'm not sure if this counted but in the last minute of the game I finished the 10 minute capture count down at Alpha (I called it in on ch. 3).
Me and my unit and some other guys also got involved in this huge fire fight in the swamp over some copper I thought we were fighting at least 2 factions but it turned out to be a lot of the dark blue team.   We had a few problems with people shooting up other people after we decided to parlay the whole area, so no hard feelings i hope both teams were at fault at least once and we worked it out.
Over all it was great day and I would do it again, maybe cashflow II next year?

every time you lose your village it costs 40k, we lost our village like 4 times. When we first lost our base we could not pay

Wolf village 1 took the win today.

But here's my re cap..

like Mako said, the save behind enemy lines was real awesome. Couldnt have gone better for us.
We lost alpha i think 4 times? Whichever, each firefight was EPIIIICC.
And also, I would like to thank Stryker, Ghost Six, Bad Karma, Jebediah, and Reaper RJ for aiding us with our base, (Nice flips and slides Reaper haha)

So now im sittin back with a cookie in one hand and a new Chicago Typewriter in the other. Great op Bish! For the most part the op was a great one, but like every op there is always that one bump in the road. Hope to have one like this soon!

PS i cant believe i spent 20 bucks on raffle tickets and didnt win....

Man did I have some fun today. Bish, props to you my friend for writing such a kick ass OP. I didn't have to find myself in a moderating position the ENTIRE game, so props to all the players for keeping their cool and playing fair, I didn't have any issues was so ever it was just over all a great day.

I must have knife killed 20+ people today lol, favorite was when all 3 merc teams joined up and pretty much gang banged kyles base. Was so epic haha

P.S. Chica can't wait to see those photos.

I feel like i should take a bow or something heheheh.

I am very pleased you all enjoyed my game, Watching everyone grinning ear to ear and enthusiastically playing the game is more satisfaction to me then a perfect 1 shot kill at 300 foot.

Very few snags, and my apologies for forgetting to tell fish to hand out some money at the beginning to all the players. That was 100% my bad.

I have some thanks to hand out myself.

Des, as always, you preformed as expected and better ( knew i kept you around for a reason ) Thanks for handling the scattering of the eggs and gems before the op and lugging almost all my gear out to the trail head at the end.

Charlie Company Alpha Squad, Thanks to your team for supplying me with porters to get all my gear into the field.

Both the Merc and Role teams did a great job, and even figured out a few ways to make there own fun within the very loose rules we were using. Good show there, Your roles were a big part of making the op great.

Fish, You had to much fun to thank, I should have charged you cash to do that job hehehe.  Top Notch performance of your roll.

Thanks to Trash for testing my will power 3 times over.
First attempted bribe, that was easy to resist.
Second attempted Bribe wasnt so easy.
Third attempted Bribe left me wondering wtf i was thinking when i said no hehehe.
Apparently I can still  resist a pretty girl trying to finagle something out of me, but If there weren't 20+ Minors around, I might have taken you up on the last offer. next Op im packing my 12x20 family cabin tent, Plenty of room to dance in there. <0.->

Also thank you to all who  drove hours to come play this new format. ( as well as those that only drove a few minutes too ;p ) You definitely don't want to miss Cashflow II. No Date set yet for it, but with the response we got this time out, there will definitely be a sequel unless I like drop dead or something.

here are the pix from my camera,, not much really, just some shots around the cantina, and safety brief.

Once again, You all Played a great game, 80+ players on the field and almost no problems, And No problems that actualy required a mod. ( although i did check on a few situations to make sure a mod was on hand if needed ) It was beautiful. And thanks again for all the Props, That alone makes all the effort worth wile.

I had an absolute blast. Merc teams 1 and 2 (my team) ran together basically the whole day, and destroyed everything.

Thanks to Bish for writing an epic OP, Merc team 1 for all the firepower they provided (how many lipo's do you guys have, anyway? ;)), chica for taking a heck of a lot of pictures, Ghost team for providing a little friendly competition during the game, Fish for being the goofiest banker I've ever seen in my entire life, OPFOR and Wolfpack for driving all the way up here to make this OP even bigger and better, and everyone else for making this OP one of my all time favorites (if not my favorite).

After selling pics of Joker on his boat in his driveway on EbaY, the vehicle is fixed for now, so I will be out to play
