question on the knife fights, can we use a bayonet while its attached to a weapon?

Negitive, You are not allowed to use a mounted knife in any manor of fighting. You may have it there for looks, but again, you may not use it as a weapon in any form. ( the knife not the gun ;p )

Rumor control and additional Information:

There is no set population limit to the game.

An additional village will be opened up if the player level grows enough to mandate it.

A third Merc team will be allowed if a third village is opened. ( Players for this merc team are already on standbye.)

You will be able to Gamble your Spartan Battle bucks on, Cards,Knife fights, and a few other surprizes we have in store, as well as anything else you can get someone to accept your bet on.

As this is a  Fund Raiser, You will be able to spend real cash ( USD ) on Food and drinks in the cantina, Bribing merc's, or additional battle bucks. You will also be able to buy raffle tickets, and something else im keeping for a Surprise that came to me wile watching the Deer Hunter.

We are also doing a Surprise raffle for a Zdiesel Gun tuneup/upgrade valued at $25.00 and perhaps a few other small things in addition to the cash raffle of the KWA M11A1 New Version NS2 Gas Blowback. Wait a second,, I said these additional raffles were a surprise raffle didnt I? But i just old you about it, so you might be wondering what the surprise is? Well, the surprise is, Im not telling you how you enter for these surprise raffles, You will have to figure it out, or stumble into it, or maybe even buy the information from some shady type person.

Special Grid Maps of the field will be for sale in the cantina for $5.00 USD, They are not mandatory to play, However they will give a distinct tactical advantage to whatever squad has one when looking for resources.

Lastly, a few players have asked me questions like,, Can i just form my own Merc team, or can i go start my own village during the game.  At this point in time,  You may not make your own merc team. But at some point in time i might offer side jobs to individual village squads. As far as starting your own village. I will also say no to this at this point in time, but i will also say I might consider it on the fly, depending on how the game is running, and the reasons for wanting to form a new village.

This game is very open ended,,As long as your activities do not violate a specific game rule, or a basic airsoft safety rule, It is pretty much allowed, but be advised, I will alter this game and the rules on the fly as i see fit, as well as make Godlike decisions should complications arise. So if you want to do something questionable, please come run it by me first in the cantina, or you will risk loosing anything you gained in a Godlike decision.

Hey I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it out, but if I do I was wondering if you guys wanted someone to take some pictures or video of the gameplay/knife fights/everything else. I've got a nice ultra hd flip camera that I haven't really been able to use much.

I don't see why there would be a problem with it, I will be taking pics/vids throughout the day aswell

Same, a lot of people do filming/photography at the field. If you have a facebook, join the Spartan assault group page and post your vids and pics on. We already have a few, and everytime I go to Spartan i try to get a good vid in

I think it would be totally awesome if while you were at the cantina you could challenge some one to a duel.
you would have your pistol in it's holster and face your opponent then either some one yells go or you just face off until some one makes a move.

Guess ill give this much away,,, This type of activety is already in the works under random events throughout the day. Spectators can of course bet amongst themselves on the outcomes of such things.

players have  been asking me bout these special events I have hinted at..

here is a excerp from a section of the "hidden activieteys" to give you a small taste of the extra stuff.

"""""""""There are rumored to be additional stashes around the field.Blank Checks in ammo box's. Each Check has its value filled in, but conveniently enough, the pay to the order of field is blank,, Unfortunately the authorizing signature is also blank. The banker is never gonna cash that check unless it has a signature. There must be a forger around here someplace. The trick is, finding him. Course, Unless you know who's name to forge, the forger wont be able to help you either.

Unlike personal cash or eggs, The ammo box's can be taken by opposing forces. The check Must stay In the box, and unaltered until you get it to the cantina. At that time you can remove it and  The banker will pay you 20k for the empty box. If you are shot wile carrying the box, you will drop it, whoever picks it up, picks it up. Again, the blank check must stay in the box until you reach the cantina or you could suffer severe penalty's.""""""""""""

So is it 20k just for the ammo box being "returned" or is it 20k for the check? Or will you take the check from the ammo can, get 20k for the can, and then keep the check until you can cash it?

You must take the check, Inside the box, back to the cantina before you remove it from the can.The banker will buy the ammo can back for 20K. the check will be somewhat more valuable, however, you must first find the forger, and secondly,  have a sample of the proper signature for the forger to copy from. Then the banker will cash the check. But i wouldnt let the banker see you removing the check from the can, or trying to get it forged. And, I wouldnt get caught in the field with a can that dont have a check in it. Very stiff fines for violating written rule.
