Hostages
« on: May 29, 2010, 01:24:44 AM »
A local terrorist group has kidnapped a few local high ranking officials.  These officers hold information vital to the war effort possibly including but not limited to launch codes for nuclear ballistic missles.  A special forces team has been sent in to rescue and ex-fil the hostages.  The terrorist team is waiting for 2 hours for a larger force to enter the area and take the hostages out of the country to be interogated.

Hostage Rules:  The following rules are specific to the Hostage(s) and only the Hostage(s)
-The hostage may not start with any gear, equipment, or weapons
-The hostage may be provided a weapon
-The hostage will run on Vitals (see below)
-The hostage may be held anywhere on the field at start of game
-The hostage may not be held in any fortified position (ex. Alpha, Bravo, Kyles Base, ect.)
-The hostage may attempt to escape at their own risk
-The hostage may be "handcuffed" (hands will be placed behind hostage's back and may not be removed by the hostage)
-The hostage may be beaten (Not to injure but to attempt to make the hostage comply)
-The hostage may attempt to communicate with his/her team (via stolen radio and/or voice command i.e. shouting
-The hostage may be gagged
- The hostage may be KOed ("punch" or "rifle butt" to the head will achieve this.  Hostage will "wake" in 2 min.)

Vital rules are as follows:

Shot in head/neck - dead (wait bleed out go to respawn)
Shot in upper torso (heart/lung area)- Dead (wait bleed out and go to respawn)
Shot in lower torso - start bleed out
Shot in Arm/leg - Loose limb
Shot in hand or foot- no effect

3 limbs lost - start bleedout

You may be medic healed (standard MAG rules 3 times) to regain use of a limb ect.  Injury acting is strongly encouraged

Just to clear things up, if a hostage is regained by us forces, may the hostage tell the us forces ANY information. Including "Team Channel". I don't see why not honestly. Just using our resources!

ya sure bout that? listening in on the enemy is usually frowned on.

whee they said they were going, who is with who, no problem with info like that, But staying off the other teams chan has been a given for a long time.

It actually worked out great and made it a lot of fun... the other team was dumb enough to blurt out their private information in front of personnel from our team, when we got him back he relayed the info he heard to us. I thought it was sick listening in and trying to squeeze information out and it was an all round awesome hostage game!

Positive Bish. If they heard it, it can be used as intel. Fishman said so himself!

This game only.  Listening is allowed, messing with them is allowed, spaming the enemy channel is frowned upon.

If it can be heard, assumed, or seen, it can be used as intelligence from the captured hostage. When me and toolbox rescued Joker, we got intel from him about where they said they were taking the other hostages. Shortly after, we captured the other hostage, and gained more intel.

And so on and so forth. I think you should be able to capture enemy soldiers and squeeze information out of them as well.

Exactly. That's awesome! It kind of makes the game. Good game, scanning the channels and saying the hostage told you is also dumb. Don't scan it's another honor thing.
