Easter egg grenades?
« on: April 21, 2010, 10:58:36 PM »
Just wondering if i could use these at SA.

They're easter eggs filled half way or 3/4s with bbs. Just throw them and they blow open and bbs shoot out, that's it. Just wondering if i could bring these to the field. I can pick up the egg shells.

You can't use firecrackers for propulsion. M-80's are much better. Sorry had to say it. lol.

Haha dont worry no explosives whatsoever. Just throw it, and once it hits the ground it just pops open and the bbs shoot out. Would you like me to show give you a demo video?

you'd be suprised. I use the crappy .12s from dicks. I would say blast radius varies, anywhere from 2ft to 5 ft. Depends on the size of the egg

Woops, bad estimation. With an egg that has 1 3/4 inch diameter and is 2 inches high, I was able to get a 17ft blast radius.

I have personal experience with the 17 foot blast radius, I think it was just lucky. I would say normally under 10 feet is the radius, but I was very surprised at how well they worked without any propulsion watsoever. It works best if it hits a hard surface, such as pavement, trees, rocks, etc.

Easter eggs break easy, so you throw them with force and the bb's pop out....kinda cheap.....not in the best interest of being reallisticl

to try privately and under parental supervision  ::) (even though it is illegal here in Maine) the easter egg with a fire cracker filled with bbs works awesome! NOT ON THE FEILD! :)
