Do you have to take a marksman/sniper course to be a marksman/sniper on the team

I would like to be a marksman/sniper for a squad and I just ordered this gun http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1506 with this scope http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=36_117&products_id=5287 Iam new to sniping but good at it so would I be required to take any courses?

It would be best if you would start as a rifleman. No one starts out as a good sniper. Ask around- you'll see  ;D But as far as I know, you dont have to take a sniper course to be on the team. I'm not on a SA team, but I've never heard anything about it.

Firecracker is right. Airsoft sniping takes a LOT of time and potentially a lot of money to do right. Its not just "I bought a sniper rifle, now I'm a sniper". It takes tons of training and practice. My advice: Buy a decent (JG, CYMA, G&G) AEG first, and then if you still really think you want to be a sniper try that down the road.
