Its not that I'm not taking their advice its just I have heard 95% good things about D-Boys so I got it and then wanted to see what everyone else thought. These are the ONLY bad reviews i have seen and none of the other reviews mentioned that the internals were bad. I'm giving it a shot.

Allow me to quote some of the reviews:

"I ordered this gun on 08/08/09 and got it on 08/14/09." <-- (This review was posted on 08/14/09)

"ive used this gun a couple times in combat now and i just love it"

"I got this gun in the mail 3 days ago and so far so good"

"This gun is SWEET!!! Got it today and charged the battery up for 40 minutes"

"Just got it. Charged up the battery, loaded magazine, shot at the box it came in..."

Now, to be fair I DID find a couple reviews (2 or 3) that claimed the gun had stood the test of time. However, as Toolbox mentioned most of these positive reviews are posted by people who have had the gun less than a week. In my opinion (just my opinion, not a fact) an AEG is not even broken in until it has around 5-10,000 rounds through it. The opinions provided here are from people who have owned these guns and put a lot of rounds through them on a weekly basis, and we are simply trying to make sure you get the best gun for your money.

If you get a DBoys its going to break sooner or later. Tool Box's friend's broke, Coyote's broke, yours will break. Waste your money if you want to, but don't say we didn't warn you.

mine did not break. just not the gun its self

GOOD TO KNOW. I have been looking at that gun for a long time, is the 330 fps a concern? I don't think so

You don't need to apologize. The dboys might have worked fine for you, but their reputation is just too unstable for us to recommend you buy one of their guns. ;D

About the MP5: I've heard great things about ICS (their two-piece gearbox design is very nice), and the full stock is a good choice because you can fit a bigger battery in it. However, the full stock version might be a little bit too long for you to hold up to your shoulder comfortably.

There is a retractable-stock version:
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_83&products_id=4236

Personally, I would just get the full-stock version...but once again, that's my opinion.

Ya i would much rather get the folding stock because the price is more affordable and allows me to get and extra hi cap. I can suck it up if the stock is a little uncomfortable.
