Squad based scenarios
« on: February 10, 2010, 07:35:09 PM »
I would like to put out there a squad based challenge for other squads/teams. We have a good squad system and chain of command but I have yet to see any squads work together. I put the a challenge out for other squad leaders to lead your troops. We can play some objective based scenarios and switch back and forth to OPFOR. This would give the individual squads a chance to build teamwork while giving the command a chance to see the squads in action. We may be able tp do this on a Saturday as well. I would like to SA squads come forth first and maybe challenge some other teams later.

hey this sounds like a good idear.  Any chance we could try it out later in the summer after most of the teams have a few weekends to work together?

I think the future of succesful operations lies in the communication and training of the squads. When it all goes to hell and squads stall, in movments, communications, or leadership, the squad will likely fail to complete the objectives.  Not to be all doom and gloom but those are my 2 cents. Training is where its at, so get some! Read up, attend a swompt event, be the man with a plan, plan a training day with your squad.  Get members to MSAF an hour early to run drills before games on sunday, perfect time, no chairsofting.
