I was in Tractor Supply the other day (the new on in Augusta) and I found many different kinds of ANSI rated safety glasses/goggles. They had two different types of full seal that fit over regular glasses, $10 and $15 depending on which one you prefer. These are the ones I picked out ($15): http://www.safetyglassesinc.com/images/images_big/Uvex_Stealth_Clear_Neo.jpg

At games I really just get called Kyle so it doesn't matter too much. But I could change to my normal "Injulen" online persona if people get confused..

I'm using these now, my dad got them for free when he worked for Cianbro. They are Pyramex V2G's.
Some features are full seal,
comfortable,
can be tinted, clear, amber, or mirrored,
it is interchangable from a strap to regular frames,
scratch resistant,
air vents,
and anti-fog

I have not been able to field them in airsoft yet so I don't know if they fog or not(if they do you can put some moondog defog on).

Here is the link to a page with all types of them: http://www.discountsafetygear.com/pyramex-goggles.html

Where are you guys on mesh goggles? I wear prescription glasses and putting these under plastic lenses leads to some serious fogging.  I was considering getting some high end mesh goggles with prescription inserts.

Would I be able to use these at the local fields?

Mesh is allowed if you have some form of lense behind them to protect your eyes from possible shatters on the mesh.

The lense behind the mesh does not have to be rated.

How do you guys feel about Oakleys as eye protection? I have a pair of half jackets that I wear really close to my face (no chance of side shot). Just wondering if they would consistently stand up to bbs, and if the bbs would scratch the lenses. I don't really like wearing the full seal tinted (or clear) goggles that I bought from harris, because they fog easily and completely cut off my peripheral vision.

I don't normally get shot in the face a lot, but in the one time I did try out the oakleys in a backyard game, they seemed to stand up nicely to a gun shooting 375 from 30 feet.

in order to use them with us, they must have a stamped rating on the lense that meets or exceeds the field minimum.

you just ant use any old goggle or glasses
