this is a topic i would like to open up.
as we have been seeing more and more "box" mags coming on the field and being used by different people.
i believe that we had advised the use of a box mag to support gunners.

I haven't seen any box mags the past few games... who uses them?
We should have a list and suggest support gunner training to those who operate guns with box mags.

1, you have missed some game lately.
2, some of the other teams have had them.
3,  to advoid a problem one must prepare for it.

he is talking about the SAW's, Beaner's and Buhda's, that have recently been out to the field.

What exactly do we need to address? I can't think of any specific rules that they should have to follow above an beyond the normal rifleman. Maybe I am just not thinking of something.

i thought we had spoke ( on the forum ) about training needed for people having boxmag/ supportgunners?

training how to properly use, in combat that is, their weapon.  beyond the basic rifleman rules i don't see an issue right now, unless something arisses in the future.

ya, thats what I am thinking. They are basically a rifleman that doesn't have to change MAGs as often.

i was more thinking along the lines of blind fire with a box mag.

yeah we will have to teach them the difference between blind fire and support fire.  trigger control is an iffy subject when it comes to support gunners.
