Brick, seriously WTF... I have picked one scenario this year! That was last weekend at MSAF. Other then that I don't choose scenarios, so its up to the players to pick what they want to play. You are just being a dick for the sake of being a dick. If you don't like how it's being played then choose not to play.

Hm

Seems you just got PWNED by the ub3rpwng0d of Mills Stream...

Well seriously we have been at this airsoft thing since 2004, and people come in for two months and think they know everything. If they payed attention at the games they would notice that we are always asking if anyone has a scenario they would like to run, but it's not all that often that people do.

On top of that, like Micov was saying, all of the better scenarios require prep and only the person that understands the scenario can really do that. So if Micov wanted to run one, or ghost or anyone then we have always been open minded about it, they just need to do the work to make it happen.

As for the teams being uneven on the last game, the only team that was short any members was the US team, because me and fish bailed on them, until they picked up Trigger and Panic late in the game. The "Merc" group fought for the Al Queda team first, then fought for the Militia team and finished the game with the US team to make things fair.

So if you are going to come out and accuse people of being unfair, you should probably know all the facts first. And if you are going to accuse me personally of always using my scenario... well then you just don't pay attention.

IMHO... i have had two of my games choosen to be played, one of which is now a staple! yea me.
but really i have had just as many failed ideas sitting around that never became a true game.
now since you have been here you have only suggested one game idea, and even that is an altered version of our VIP game that we used last month... tefinete was the vip/president... so that would mean your game/idea was used in the last month.
now you have no complaints... because Ghost has yet again led someone into the light!

Alright, alright, I stand corrected on several levels. I didn't mean to ruffle everybodys feathers. I didnt know that scenarios were chosen on the field, I thought it was set up ahead of time (i.e., on the forums). I understand that I'm new and don't fully understand how things work yet. I wasn't even saying that I had a scenario that nobody cared about, I said this because it seemed unfair to the people who make really good ones, citing Micov. Now I understand that Micov's arent run because he hasnt been in a while to set them up or suggest them. And I mentioned that things didnt work in Dayton because I honestly thought that our team was short handed. Again, I stand corrected. I don't do this often, but I apologize smoke, I was just kinda being a prick. I mean no disrespect. I'm just going to sit the next couple of plays out. "I gotta stop saying things when they crop up in the old skull."-(Champ Kind) No hard feelings?

your appology was heart felt.  I'm glad you have finally come around.  we try and make this a community thing where everyone can have a good time and imput ideas or suggestions.  we're not trying to play only a few senarios but we do want to keep the game fun.  therefore we use the senarios we feel will engage the players in a more inclusive expirience on the field.  but again thank you for the appology.

I realize now how shitty it can be when there is hostility. (Yesterday's incidents) I'm going to steer clear of that.

Not to beat a dead horse I think Brick had some legitamit complaints but did not voice them very tactfully. I had some issues that day my self but got over it because the game and field was awesome. The scenario was awesome and  well thought out. I think the problems from our (al qaedas) side was that we did not know if the new players on the field were friend or foe. Trigger, Panic and Kansas joined the game without attending the inbrief, chrono and did not know the particulars of the scenario. Their team got the codes and the SATCOM and completed the game without the 200 count that was supposed to be done. Trigger should have waited until lunch been briefed and enter the game at the same level as all others. As an Officer he should have used better judgment I expressed this with him already. I am a noob but thats my take. Brick you cant just shoot from the hip. In the military we always debrief and improve thats the name of the game. Nothing ever goes exactly as planned, learn and move on.

The 200 Count was done, I am not sure where your information came from. It was not stated that it needed to be announce on the radio or anything. The team did miss the part where you are supposed to radio after the 200 count, but the game is done at that point anyway.

They were welcomed into the game by myself and savage and placed on the US team since they were short. We have late arrivals at every single game and thisis always how it is handled. If you did not recognize them as being on your team one would think you would treat them as your enemy.

Roger that.  I was just trying to show that nothing is ever perfect and thats how improvments are made thru trial and error, expierience, and successes. I would play that scenario again in a heartbeat and the day was awesome.

Oh defintely, there will always be little issues with scenarios. I am glad that the majority of players can accept that and help to improve the scenarios and gameplay for the future.
